We originally opened our dental laboratory way back in 2000 and for 25 years now we have been providing our patients and other dental practices in the area with custom-made dentures. We pride ourselves on our specialist treatments and commitment to customer care, but we don’t just produce dentures - we also offer same-day denture repairs that restore the look and function of your teeth without any hassle.

Our express denture repairs
If you have dentures then you have already experienced tooth loss and all the hassle that comes with it, as well as the benefits of having your smile restored. Living with missing teeth, even if you lose just one or two, will impact your speech, your ability to eat, and your self-confidence, and our denture repair provisions ensure that you will never have to deal with tooth loss again.
Broken dentures aren’t just an inconvenience - they are a dental emergency that needs to be addressed quickly and unlike most dentists, we don’t need to send your dentures away to be repaired. Instead, we offer onsite denture repairs that fix any issues right here in our dental laboratory. In fact, many other practices often have to send their patients’ dentures to specialists just like us to have them repaired.
This allows us to offer same day appointments to all our patients, saving you time and stress and restoring your dentures without the long wait. We will also be able to assess the condition of your teeth, gums, and jaw and if there have been any changes since your dentures were first fitted then we will adjust the new set to accommodate these.
What to do if your dentures break
Our denture repair treatments are available at any time of the day, so don’t delay. If your dentures unexpectedly break, or you think that they are becoming worn down and in need of repair, then call us directly on 01256 353033 to book in for an emergency appointment.
We will see you as soon as we can, and in the meantime please keep your remaining teeth safe by not putting the damaged set back inside your mouth or trying to fix the dentures yourself. If you have a spare set of dentures then you can use these whilst we repair your main set, but if not then don’t worry - you’ll have your original set back in no time.
Top tips for looking after your dentures
Dentures, particularly Dentalia dentures, are built to last, but accidents can happen at any time and most sets will generally need to be repaired or replaced every 10 years.
This means that the older your dentures are, the more care they will need, so familiarise yourself with these key ways to avoid damaging your dentures.
● Stick to soft foods: When you first get your dentures, you should eat softer foods for the first few weeks and avoid hard or sticky foods as a general rule. Eventually you will be able to eat, drink, and speak as you normally would with natural teeth, but it can take a few weeks for them to stabilise enough for your regular diet.
● Brush your teeth: Maintain your existing oral hygiene routine and remember to brush your teeth, gums, and tongue to prevent any plaque buildup that will increase the risk of infections at the denture site.
● Keep them clean: Clean your dentures with the recommended cleaning solution (you’ll find out more about this during your appointment) every morning and evening, and rinse them in cold water after you’ve eaten. This may feel time-consuming, but it is the best way to avoid complications and damage.
● Don’t sleep with the dentures in: Remove your dentures every night and store them in a denture-cleaning solution. It is also a good idea to store them in this solution or in water whenever you’re not using them.
● Attend regular appointments: Once the procedure is complete, we’ll keep in touch with you to see how you are getting on with your new dentures. Visiting us for check-up appointments and contacting our team if you have any questions is the best way to deal with any issues before they damage your dentures or impact your oral health.
