Cancellation Policy

Dentalia would like to politely remind our patient’s that we have limited time to see our lovely patients, and if the need to cancel an appointment should arise we would require 48’s notice prior to the appointment date.

Our helpful text reminder service also prompts you 48hours before and as long as you have given us the correct registration contact details, a text reminder stipulating time and date will be sent to your mobile 48hr’s prior to your appointment, making it easy for you to contact us in good time and avoid any fees that would be charged for missed appointments and or late cancellations.

Discretion will only be used in specific circumstances.

New patients- Dentalia may request a deposit upon booking for all private treatments.

By contacting Dentalia you can change your appointment at no cost, up-to 48’s hours before your appointment. You can also cancel your appointment up-to 48 hours before your appointment and receive a full refund of the deposit, if however your cancel within 24 hours, or you do not attend your appointment your deposit will be forfeited and  another deposit will be required upon booking.

If however you have appointment booked for treatment, which are over an hour in chair time further charges may be applied to the cost of half the planned treatment cost or by the hour. This is to ensure we can offer  any late cancellation appointments to patients that are waiting for treatment, and or are in pain so we appreciate  your full cooperation regarding this so it can benefit all of Dentalia’s patients.

On the day of your appointment:

Dentalia strive to run on time although this can’t always be predicted and on occasion may require inform you of a slight delay and for which we try and inform you by phone before your appointment  time and or on arrival. This normally arises if there if an emergency patient requiring urgent attention and we’re sure if that patient was yourself  you would also appreciate the same dedication to get you out of any discomfort so you patient would be appreciated.

  • Please be aware of  busy periods on the roads and rush hours and allow plenty of time for delays on your journey.
  • Try to arrive a few minutes before your appointment as a specific time has been set aside for you to see the dentist, and we will required some forms to be filled in prior to your appointment.
  • If you are late your appointment the treatment may be compromised and the appointment will be cut short or  you may be asked to rescheduled, so that the next person can be seen on time.
  • If you are more than ten minutes late for your appointment, we may be unable to see you at all on that day and your deposit will be forfeited.
