New dental patient

What to Expect When Joining Our Dental Practice

At Dentalia, it’s our mission to prevent oral health problems, not just treat them when they occur. Should we lose our teeth, they will never grow back, so our approach to oral health care is to do everything we can to protect and preserve natural teeth. In striving to promote good oral health, our door is always open to new patients.

If you are looking for a dental practice where you can feel completely comfortable and cared for, we’re completely confident that you will find that here. We appreciate that every patient is different, so we will always take our time to get to know new patients so that we can provide care that is completely tailored to the individual.

What new patients can expect at their first appointment with us

No rush On your first visit to our practice, we advise that you allow for up to 30 minutes when choosing a time for your appointment. We take pride in taking our time to get to know new patients so that we can provide dental care to suit you in the future.

A thorough assessment - For us to devise the right dental care for you, it’s important that we thoroughly assess your oral health. We will look closely at your:

  • Gums
  • Cheeks
  • Jaw
  • Tongue
  • Teeth

As well as examining your oral health, we will also look for any other symptoms that could be signs of other health issues.

Outstanding chairside manner – We want you to feel safe and comfortable, so our dentists, hygienist and dental nurses provide fantastic chairside manner, ensuring that you have a positive experience with us. We have great experience in working with nervous patients – if visiting the dentist makes you anxious, you can rest assured that our team will only work at a speed that you are comfortable with and we can also offer you an appointment at a quieter time of the day to help you feel more at ease.
