Smile Makeovers

If you are unhappy with your smile it might be that a single treatment isn’t enough to make the improvements you’ve been dreaming about. That’s why we offer smile makeovers. These tailored treatment plans are bespoke to each and every patient and aim to improve the appearance and health of your teeth and gums through a combination of cosmetic dentistry procedures.

How does a smile makeover work?

Our smile makeovers have been carefully designed to deliver results that not only last, but give you the confidence to show off your smile.

Each smile makeover at Dentalia starts with a consultation where we get to know you, your personality and what it is about your teeth that you don’t like. We’ll ask you about the smile you’d like in an ideal world and then explain how realistic it is to achieve that and what procedures we’d recommend to help you get there.

We’ll take into account your facial appearance, the tone of your skin, your hair colour, the size, shape, position and colour of your teeth and your gum tissue before recommending any treatment. We’ll also use imagery and x-rays to help us get an in-depth understanding of the structure and positioning of your teeth, lips and gums so that we can plan the best way to transform your smile.

What treatments are involved in a smile makeover?

At Dentalia, our smile makeovers involve a wide variety of dental treatments to help improve the positioning, appearance and colour of your teeth. The treatments we recommend for you will depend upon the issues you are experiencing and what you want to get from your new smile, but to give you an idea of what we can do, here are some of the treatments that might be included in your smile makeover.

Invisalign

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that uses clear plastic aligners to straighten the teeth. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible and can be removed for eating and cleaning. This makes them a popular choice for adults who want to improve the appearance of their smile without the hassle of metal braces. The aligners are custom-made to fit your teeth and gradually move them into the desired position over time. Invisalign treatment typically takes between 6 and 18 months, depending on the severity of your orthodontic issues.

Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is a dental treatment that involves applying a tooth-coloured resin material to the teeth to improve their appearance. It can be used to repair chipped or cracked teeth, close gaps between teeth, and help make teeth look more even in terms of shape and size.

Veneers

A dental veneer is a thin layer of porcelain or composite material that is placed over the front surface of a tooth. This dental treatment is used to improve the appearance of teeth that are discoloured, chipped, or misaligned. Veneers can help to create a more uniform and aesthetically pleasing smile by changing the shape, size, and colour of teeth.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation

Full mouth rehabilitation is a comprehensive dental treatment that involves restoring all the teeth to optimal health and function. It typically involves a combination of restorative, cosmetic, and neuromuscular dentistry procedures. Full mouth rehabilitation can help improve your smile by correcting a wide range of dental issues, including missing, damaged, or misaligned teeth, gum disease, and bite problems.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure that involves removing stains and discolouration from teeth and making them appear brighter and whiter. By improving the colour of your teeth, teeth whitening can enhance the overall appearance of your smile and boost your self-confidence.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are placed into your jaw to support a replacement tooth or bridge. They can help improve your smile by filling gaps left by missing teeth, restoring your ability to chew and speak properly, and boosting your confidence by giving you a natural-looking, beautiful smile. With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime and significantly improve your oral health and quality of life.

Dentures

Dentures are removable prosthetic devices that are used to replace missing teeth. They can improve your smile by filling in the gaps where teeth are missing and restoring the appearance of your mouth and face. Dentures can also help you to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

As you can see there are lots of different treatments that can make up a smile makeover. Whether you just need a veneer or two and some teeth whitening, or a combination of several procedures, we can create a makeover plan to help you get the perfect smile.
