Sweet tooth.

You will have heard about the Chancellor’s new sugar tax on soft drinks, announced in the Budget.   It’s designed to make us less obese, but on the way it might help reduce tooth decay, especially in kids.   It may be well-intentioned, but will it work?   We doubt it.  The big drinks makers, like Coca-Cola, are up in arms, threatening legal action.  Mind you, Coca-Cola Zero will be rebranded as Coca-Cola Zero Sugar – great difference that will make! In the end, we think it will be a storm in a sweetened teacup and will make no discernible difference. Two sugars please, dear. John
